The Euroregional Green Audiovisual Hub brought together the delegations of New Aquitaine, the Basque Country and Navarre in Angoulême for a first meeting to open up avenues of cooperation between the three territories.

The ‘Green Audiovisual’ encounter, organised by Pôle Image MagelisKSIgune and CLAVNA on 18 and 19 November 2024, was attended by stakeholders from government, higher education and business, who had the opportunity to learn about the Euroregional Green Audiovisual Hub, exchange best practices and identify opportunities for collaboration in the Euroregional audiovisual ecosystem.

The participating entities were, from the institutional side: NAEN Euroregion, Basque Government, Pôle Image Magelis, KSIgune – Basque Higher Education and Research Cluster for the CCIs, and CLAVNA – Audiovisual Cluster of Navarre; from the educational side: SpirOps AI and Cnam-Enjmin, Digipen Bilbao, Lycée de l’Image et du Son d’Angoulême, Pixelian and ESCIVI; and from the business and associative side: Les Films du Poisson Rouge, Baleuko, BoCAJ, Esther Vital, Loops Creative Studio, Basque Green Film, TOKU, Efectoscopio Red, Miyu Productions, Antaviana Films, Kalank and Bárbara Gragirena.

The gathering included an institutional presentation on the vision of Euroregional cooperation, a session of B2B meetings, and a programme of study visits to get to know the audiovisual ecosystem of Angoulême, including: the Superprod animation studio, the Hari animation studio, the G4F/Native Prime sound studio, the Piste Rouge sound studio, and the International Museum of Comics and Image.

This event is among the first actions of the Hub for the articulation and strengthening of the audiovisual ecosystem in the Euroregion, with the aim of collaborating in higher and university education, research, knowledge transfer and cooperative projects.
