ksiGUNE Basque Pole of Knowledge in the field of Cultural and Creative industries was presented at the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWR2020) by Euskampus Fundazioa. This initiative is led by the Basque Department of Education in coordination with the Department of Culture and Language Policy, as part of the Basque Smart Specialisation Strategy.
The Basque Government’s delegation was involved for the sixteenth time organising the presentation of various stakeholders and international institutions that took part in this edition.
ksiGUNE was brought to the forum by the Regional Initiative for Culture and Creativity (RICC) network co-led by the Basque Government, together with the European Regions Research & Innovation Network - ERRIN. The forum’s theme was aligned with the priorities set by the European Agenda, focusing especially on the upcoming Innovation and Knowledge Community (KIC) call in the field of Cultural and Creative Industries.
